Custom Applications

In every industry technology is serving a greater role at building competitive advantages for organizations.  Whether your company produces fasteners or delivers market reports to clients online, proprietary applications are the key to speeding up your production line and providing a unique set of extended services.  There are no out of the box solutions that without some tailoring, can give you a market advantage.

We have written applications that range from a national subcontractor locator utility for construction engineers to a complete algorithm for shimming the field strength of a magnetic resonance imaging system.  Whatever the purpose of your application or however you need it delivered, we are confident that a feasible solution can be found.

We use the following technologies in the foundation components via Microsoft .Net:

ASP(X), CSS, HTML, Java, SQL Server, Visual Basic, C#, JQuery, XML

Internet Terminals

Technology has taken an ironic turn since the late 80's when most applications used a terminal to run a process off of a mainframe computer.  Without getting into all the advances in engineering over the last thirty years, the same powerful computer processing technology became available on an individually affordable basis better known as the personal computer (PC).

And in a similar fashion to the mainframe, the PC has the maintenance responsibilities that depreciate your productive output. For example, loading software updates, creating backups and scanning for viruses consumes a few hours out of any week just to keep it running smoothly.  Storing your data locally has its benefits as far as security and access to it is concerned, but maintenance wise, it's a boat anchor for both the consumer and the manufacturer.

Remember logging into bulletin board systems in 1991 before connecting to the internet was even accessible?  Now that the internet is flourishing and the world seems to be a bit more environmentally conscious, the idea of sending out software upgrade diskettes or having to waste productive time with all the upkeep is foolish from both a consumer and a manufacturer's point of view.  And, more and more end users don't do very much client side processing.  In essence the PC has become the new terminal station and the internet server is now the mainframe machine.

The future of online commerce is in distributing applications from small business servers to other business servers (B2B) as well as consumers (B2C) via internet and mobile technology.  Successful companies will be the ones that advance their sales technology into mobile content delivery systems that allow them to reach more active consumers.  How much more sales could your company generate if you were able to reach out to a potential customer while they are walking through your competitor's store or while stuck in traffic?  We can develop custom mobile applications for your company today.
