The only people I hear spouting about new domain name extensions (gTLD's) are the one's who have a stake in their success as a registry or those looking to recoup their investment. Truth is with the scarcity of good dot com extensions dwindling at less than insane prices, good .com domain names are going up in value. The time to buy is now while traffic is slower over the summer months and before the market starts to pick up again in the fall. If you're unaware of all the other extensions and when they came about, there is an info graphic here at Key-Systems.net from a few years ago.
When buying a gTLD, ask yourself when was the last time you went to one, and where does the the majority of spam come from? I think you'll find that the answer is a .garbage extension. Registering one of these will drive help traffic to the .com, .net or .org domain names respectively above it. There are 882 domain extensions at last count, but your customers just know of the top three. If you're looking to increase your brand or to expand a product line, while the US economy is beginning to soar again, buy now before prices return to pre 2005 levels. There is a market correction coming that will swing .com names up beyond any levels we've seen them at. Get them before they turn into gold.
Just found this on Imgur.com under current events. According to this post, evidently Jeb Bush, or most likely one of his staffers, let the domain JebBush.com expire and now redirects to DonaldJTrump.com.
You can say a lot of things about Trump, but at least he understands the value of domain names and how to manage them. How does Jeb's management let this happen at such a critical time?
Running and maintaining technology should be a litmus test for running the country. Another candidate can't seem to manage an email account, yet she feels qualified to run as president. Not to mention the one we've got paid over 600 million for Healthcare.gov.
Looking for an interesting tech read? Check out Bit Rebels Technology section. They cover mainstream technology news and human interest stories from around the globe. Tech products trending in Europe generally don't make it in the US media unless they're a big item. Personally, I like to know before that happens.
BitRebels.com makes for an enjoyable read whether looking for new reviews on apps, geek info or just killing some time at Starbucks.
Introducing the Intel Compute Stick. It transforms any HDMI TV or monitor into a full computer. All you need is a wireless keyboard and mouse and you’re all set. When you combined the use of cloud applications and storage, what do you need the rest of the box for?
It comes equipped to go with Windows 8.1, Intel's Atom Quad-core processor, 2gb ram, 32gb storage, built-in WiFi, a USB port and a Micro SD card slot.
Perfect for gaming in the family room, replacing a projector or turning your old TV a smart device. You can pickup the Compute Stick for about $150.
Upgrades I'd like to see in the next version: Make it the size of a pen with the ability to write, a holographic display that will work in daylight and a flawless speech recognition system. Still this very cool, bravo Intel.

Take a look at ixquick.com, a powerful search engine that helps you search the web with total privacy. Why let your search results be tracked and become the target of advertisers, government agencies and other malicious intruders. ixquick's results are accurate and handle the most complicated searches with most advanced capabilities.
These are some of ixquick's privacy-protecting features:
No IP address recorded
No record is made of your searches

Default SSL encryption
Powerful, easy to use proxy available
Fourteen-year company track record, third-party certified

ixquick.com is the most powerful and private search engine alternative available on the internet. I made the change not just for privacy, but for truer results faster. The results you get on the popular pre-loaded search sites are paid results. In other words, you're getting the results of whomever is paying for the keywords you searched for. I want what I'm searching for within a legitimate site's content. It's not a pure search with ixquick, but it's a big step closer. And, I shouldn't have to defend the privacy issues either. Too many times you hear arguments like, "If you are not doing anything wrong, you don't need to worry about privacy". Well, I'm not up to anything wrong, immoral or illegal, so keep your nose out of it, it's just none of your business.
Some great people gave their all for freedom, a doctrine of human rights and better way of life. At the very least stand up by making a change with your search engine. Happy Memorial Day!
I found TheNextWeb while looking for information about wearables (great seo by the way) Wearables are technology devices that you wear. I discovered a passage called Wearables Reach Employees in an article by JT Ripton titled 6 Technology Trends for 2016.
My interest in wearable is in how they can be useful and monetized in the private sector. Clearly, the applications for police, fire rescue and military are needed and in the future may be looked upon as how could we have ever done without them. But, other than convenience what applications do they really hold? Now after reading the article, from a psychology viewpoint the the possibilities are endless. Here's an exert:
Some companies are giving wearables to their employees on the ground for second-by-second inventory updates. Others are using them internally to see how their corporate employees interact.
